It has been brought to my attention that there are a few forums on the web that are labeling the Jaguar Marketing System as a pyramid scheme and a scam. Hopefully I will address this issue here without leaving any room for doubt.
As a Jaguar Marketing System member I frequently do keyword research for my company and products. At times I’ll come across individual posts in message boards or other types of forums that are telling members of that particular forum that Jaguar Marketing is a scam and a pyramid. On each and every occasion I’ve encountered this, the post has been by someone who is NOT a member of Jaguar Marketing and who has absolutely no idea what we offer.
Jaguar Marketing System Scam?
Why would someone say “scam” without doing any research or without really knowing anything about the company? I believe there are two reasons;
1. Because they have failed at every single business venture they have attempted, and they think that ALL online businesses are scams.
2. Because they are one of the many despicable marketers that attack and stigmatize other business opportunities to appear as an authority and/or to elevate their own company.
Either way, it’s tired and pathetic. I guarantee you that there will always be someone on their soapbax yelling “scam” for any home based business you inquire about, I see it every single day.
We all know what a scam is. It’s when a company or person cheats you out of your money. It’s fraudulant and illegal. You’ll usually find these in you spam folder where Citibank is asking for you to login and change your information, or when that wealthy prince from Africa wants to give you $12 Million just for helping him out with his estate.
The Jaguar Marketing System and Mentors on a Mission have been in existence for over four years and have seen the highest growth rate over the last 12 months. Jaguar Marketing System Pyramid?
Here’s a post by a guy I found on one of the forums I read:

Run, screaming. Don’t touch it. It looks like a pyramid scheme to me.
Let’s take a look at how a true Pyramid Scheme operates. The basis of a pyramid scheme is that “investors”:
1. Pay to participate in the scheme which offers no product or service.
2. Are promised a reward for recruiting further “investors” into the scheme.
As with a Ponzi scheme, this means that early investors often make large profits. However as the scheme needs more and more “investors” to keep joining, it is inevitable that the pyramid will eventually collapse. The result is that the promoter makes a substantially large profit, people who joined early make mediocre profits, and those who joined later lose their so called investments.
Consider an example to see how it works:
The promoter of a pyramid scheme starts by recruiting a hundred people and charges each of them $100 to join. Each person joining is promised $500 for every 10 people they recruit into the scheme.
All of the first hundred then manage to recruit 10 new members each. At this point the promoter of the scheme has collected $110,000 in fees and paid out $5,000.
The 1,000 investors in the second wave also get 10 recruits each. The promoter has now collected $1,110,000 and paid out $55,000.
The 10,000 investors in the third wave recruit their 10,000, the 100,000 in the fourth wave recruit a million, and the million in the fifth wave recruit 10 million.
With 10 million people trying to recruit new members it becomes very hard to recruit more. The pyramid either collapses or the original promoter runs off with everyones money.
Now do I really have to defend Mentors on Mission and the Jaguar Marketing System by saying we are neither a scam or a pyramid?

Great article, and the poster Adam proves many of your points.
It’s sad how some of the newer network marketing and direct sales companies who haven’t been in business more than a year, and have only copied other successful companies models are teaching their “recruits” to bash the legitimate businesses they have copied. As if magically they will have eliminated their competion who gave birth to their very own company over night.
These “online marketers”, have been recruited into knockoff companies and their sponsors are not “taking them” for lots of money so they don’t feel tossing away a few hundred dollars isn’t such a big deal when they don’t learn anything or make anything.
It’s a fascinating approach in an industry where most come in believing there is no work required to make the cash signing up for all of these inexpensive programs that offer no money back gaurantee wondering why they can’t make money. If they had invested in a legitimate company like Jag they would be in profit not in multiple streams of outgo.
I’ve spent some time hunting these posters down only to find out they are new in their company using unprofessional tactics taught to them by those who recrutied them into their low entry no value deals.

dude, you’re a freaking newbie. why are you professing yourself as an expert? anyone can rank on the first page of google LOCALLY. its freaking easy! according to your myspace page, you only make 30k a year and you’re working at a bar. smells and looks like a scam to me! give it up len estrada, you suck!
As I chuckled to myself while reading this, my first thought was to just spam him and be done with it. But then I had a better idea.
Obviously, I hit a chord with this guy… Nick Young is it?
You are right my friend, it is easy to rank locally. It’s quite another to hold 6 of the top 10 on page 1. And you’ll notice I said it was for “one” of the keyphrases.
As for my MySpace, I designed that site about 7 years ago, haven’t done anything with it but check messages occasionally.
To avoid some long drawn out Nick burn session, let’s turn this into something productive. I propose a challenge:
Nick Young will pick an obscure keyphrase and we are going to do SEO battle. As a specialist in my field, I’m willing to put it on the line… but are you, Mr. Nick Young?
The rules are simple, Nick picks an obscure 3 to 5 letter keyphrase, it doesn’t even have to make sense or be real words. Ex: “widgetal primus taks”
We each have 72 hours to run a campaign. He who dominates the SERPs at the end of the 72 hours, wins. Nick, (he will be emailed, assuming the email he submitted is real) has until Friday, September 19th, 2008, 9pm PST to respond here on this blog post, with an answer to my challenge and/or the keyphrase.
I will be informing the entire Web 2.0 community of this challenge Nick, so I hope you man up… or maybe you’re just one of those bonehead asses that vomits his worthless opinion all over the web just because you hate your life.

I doubt you are making any real money. You suck. blackhat seo. anyone can do that crap, but google will derank you and possible blacklist your sorry ass.
No REAL seo expert would challenge anyone to a 3 day SEO contest. That is stupid. Getting properly ranked takes time! You can get ranked but eventually will get dropped to the 151st page of google.
When you said that you were a SEO expert, i almost pooped my pants. You sound very confident (sarcasm). The matter of fact is that you suck and I hope that the people reading this, do not purchase your crappy system!
(Laughing) I couldn’t have guessed better as to how you would respond. I must be psychic.
There isn’t one aspect of my SEO that is blackhat, son. It seems you may be using archaic techniques if you think it takes awful amounts of time to get ranked.

Our friend Nick responded with the usual diatribe, but I had to spam it.
Once again he didn’t leave a real name, email, or website. He even actually called me a snakeoil salesman at one point. Tried to discredit Jaguar for being an MLM. (only an inexperienced marketer believes that MLM is fraudulant)
Some multi-million dollar companies make their fortunes using an MLM model. (ie. Mary Kay, Amway, Passion Parties, Pampered Chef, PartyLite, the list goes on.)
It’s obvious he’s a young one trying to discredit me and my business for some reason. He also had one of his buddies leave a message saying that he was a former associate of mine in Jaguar named James W. who also did not leave a real name, email or website. This one also claimed, quite immaturely, “Yeah, Len Estrada IS a snake oil salesman.”
It’s also testimony to their limited online marketing experience that they would believe a blogger would continue to approve their nonsense.
Poof, be gone.
